The New York Jets swapped their 1st round pick (#13 overall) with Green Bay’s 1st rounder (#15 overall), in addition to this year’s 2nd round pick and 6th round pick in exchange for QB Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay’s 5th round selection. There’s also a conditional 2nd round pick in 2024 that will become a 1st round pick if Rodgers plays at least 65% of snaps for the Jets.
The Jets, who missed the playoffs for 12 straight years, have suddenly become a potential contender and switched to a win now mode. Nothing short of winning a Super Bowl is really acceptable at this point, as the Gang Green gave up way too much for a soon to be 40-year old quarterback, unless he brings us the Super Bowl…
