The New York Jets acquired LB Haason Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a conditional draft pick in 2026. If Reddick plays more than 67.5% of playing time and has 10 or more sacks in the upcoming season, the pick becomes a 2nd rounder. Otherwise, it’s a 3rd round pick.
Reddick, 29, signed a 3-year $45M contract with the Eagles in 2022 and was selected to Pro Bowl in both seasons with the Eagles. He had his best year in 2022 when he registered a career high 16 sacks and was also a 2nd team All Pro selection. Reddick is going to become an unrestricted free agent after this season and will be expecting a massive new deal, which is why Philadelphia decided to ship him out.
Reddick, who started in every game for the Eagles, is expected to replace departed DE Bryce Huff as the top Jets pass-rusher.
