The team announced another interview on Thursday, this time with Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik:

Slowik, 37, has held his current role for the past two seasons. In Houston, Slowik has overseen the emergence of quarterback CJ Stroud.
Slowik is currently prepping Stroud and the Texans offense for their upcoming Divisional round matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL postseason.
In the past, Slowik has previously been considered a finalist for head coaching opportunities with the Washington Commanders and Atlanta Falcons.
New York’s last head coach, Robert Saleh, was fired on Oct. 8. The team, 2-3 at the time, named Jeff Ulbrich the interim coach. It ended up with a 5-12 record.
After letting Saleh go, the Jets announced that the The 33rd Team, a football media, analytics and consulting media outlet, would assist owner Woody Johnson in their search for a new general manager and head coach. That group was founded by former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum and ex-Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman.
Jets Wire will provide updates on the search for a head coach as information is made available.
