Glenn was a Jets great as a player.
The Jets are beginning their second round of head coaching interviews today, and if Ian Rapoport is to be believed, there could be a quick resolution.
A monumental day: Top target Aaron Glenn visits the #Jets & the goal is to keep him from leaving the building, sources say.
The deal isn’t done & there are still some particulars to discuss. But if all goes well, he could end today as HC of the NYJ. If not, the #Saints await. pic.twitter.com/70yHBb5Rel

There has been a lot of buzz about Glenn being the Jets’ top choice recently. If Rapoport is to be believed, it sounds like Glenn might be interviewing the Jets more than the Jets are interviewing Glenn. The Saints also have reported interest in the Lions defensive coordinator, who previously worked on the New Orleans staff under Sean Payton.
If the Jets really want Glenn, they will have a chance to land him today. The Jets also have a second round general manager interview scheduled with Commanders assistant general manager Lance Newmark on the books. Glenn and Newmark worked together for three years in Detroit. So if all goes to plan, the long search for new leadership could be resolved within a few hours for the Jets.
