The last front office for the New York Jets did not leave any 2025 NFL draft gifts for the new one.
Each offseason, NFL teams can earn extra compensatory draft picks for various reasons. Much of it relates to players a team lost in free agency during the prior offseason.
According to Over The Cap’s current projections, the Jets will not be receiving any of those this in 2025:

The handing out of compensatory draft selections by the league is a bit of a confusing mystery.
That’s because the NFL essentially makes it a secret and does not even tell teams what it is. On occasion, a club could predict they will be receiving a high comp pick, such as a third rounder. Then they find out the NFL decided to give them a lower one such as a Round 4 selection.
Because the Jets did not lose lose many “big name” free agents a year ago via free agency, it’s unlike any of these compensatory selections will be heading to New York. How much a lost free agent signs for with their new team factors into where a comp pick would land.
Jets Wire will provide updates as information becomes available.
