Media were on hand for the Jets’ training camp practice today. Here’s what went down according to those on hand:
- The Jets were in full pads;
- Jeremy Ruckert and Jake Hanson returned to practice;
- Deuce Carter, Jarrick Bernard-Converse and Isaiah Oliver did not practice;
- All five offensive line starters took part in team drills but Mike Williams did not;
- Kenny Yeboah had a nice low grab from Aaron Rodgers on the first play of team drills;
- Rodgers squeezed an impressive side-arm completion to Garrett Wilson in between CJ Mosley and Sauce Gardner for 10 yards;
- Rodgers started off 5-for-6;
- The next session was rough for the offense though, as Rodgers had just one completion, to Allen Lazard. He also had six incompletions, a false start and was sacked once by Will McDonald;
- On the next series, Rodgers threw behind Wilson as the pair weren’t on the same page;
- McDonald continued to play well, picking up a few more pressures including his second sack;
- The Jets tried to drive the field, but Rodgers’ 4th down pass to Wilson was incomplete; and
- Practice ended with Rodgers, who was reportedly 11-for-27 on the day, throwing an interception to Tony Adams in the end zone.
