This will mark the Jets’ fourth game in London. They defeated the Dolphins in 2015 and lost to the Falcons in 2021 and the Vikings in 2024.
Of course in these international games, one of the two teams is originally scheduled to have a home game. The Jets’ first three trips to London have come in games where they were supposed to be the visitor. The 2025 London game will come in a scheduled Jets home game. This means the Jets will only play eight games at MetLife Stadium, instead of the nine they originally were allotted.
It’s obviously unfortunate for the fans, but losing a home game here and there is now inevitable given the number of international games played in the league at this point. On the plus side, the Jets’ schedule in 2025 is very light on long trips.
