Good morning Gang Green Nation! There is considerable sentiment out there that the top of the 2025 NFL draft is all but locked in. Oddsmakers have set odds for the first six or seven picks projecting surprising certainty as to the identity of each pick. I don’t know about you, but I have seen too many guys who were supposedly locks at X pick, or were guaranteed not to slip past Y pick, only to have those locks and guarantees get turned upside down on draft day. Trades happen. Smoke screens take their effect. Teams surprise you. Nearly every draft has some major surprises in the first round, and often at the top of the draft. Of course the top of the draft could fall exactly the way the oddsmakers foresee. But I wouldn’t bet on it.
