Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets
Good morning Gang Green Nation! Assuming the four current AFC division leaders and the Baltimore Ravens are close to locks to make the playoffs, the final two AFC berths are likely to come down to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Denver Broncos, the Indianapolis Colts and the Cincinnati Bengals, with a slim possibility the Miami Dolphins and/or the New York Jets make a run. The Broncos, Colts and Dolphins all lost yesterday, helping the Jets out. Now it’s up to the Jets to show they’re capable of making a run. A win next Sunday over the Arizona Cardinals, followed by a win over the Indianapolis Colts the following week, would give the Jets a three game winning streak and pull the Jets back into contention as they head into their bye week. The Jets have thus far given us little reason to think they’ll accomplish that relatively modest feat, but if they do, things start to get interesting. If not, well, time for mock draft season.
