There is at least one player for the New York Jets that was not too happy about the update that Aaron Rodgers will no longer be with the team: Quinnen Williams.
In a bit of a Super Bowl weekend news dump, it was reported that Rodgers will not be with the Jets next season. The team plans to move on from him.
Williams, 27, does not seem to be extremely happy about it.
The defender posted two messages on his social media account on X/Twitter after he learned about the news. It appears he realized he should delete his commentary, because he did.
But the internet lives forever.
Screenshots caught Williams posting a thumbs down and he complained about a possible rebuild going forward in New York:
Quinnen Williams posted these earlier in response to the news of Aaron Rodgers not returning to the #Jets
The first he deleted then posted the second, & since he has deactivated his account on here

Williams, 27, was drafted No. 3 overall in the 2019 NFL draft by the Jets. During his tenure in New York, he has seen a slew of quarterback lineup for his team so it’s understandable that Williams is probably unhappy it did not work out with Rodgers.
Williams likely won’t be going anyway and we’ll have to wait and see where his feelings go. The Jets will need to figure out the QB position moving forward, but teams like the 2024 Denver Broncos have shown that one quick switch could make a world of difference.
Jets Wire will provide updates on the team throughout the offseason.
