The interview many wanted to happen has taken place.
The New York Jets have reportedly interviewed former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel for their vacant head coach position, according to The Athletic:
The #Jets will interview Mike Vrabel at the facility today.
Over the last five months, I spent extensive time with Vrabel as he worked for the Browns. He reflected on his Titans tenure — and opened up about what he wants next.

Vrabel will be the second known candidate to interview in New York. On Thursday, former Carolina Panthers and Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera was the first candidate to speak with the Jets.
Vrabel, 49, left a consulting job with the Cleveland Browns earlier this week. That allowed him to meet with New York since he was no longer employed by a team.
Following the conclusion of the 2023 season, Vrabel was fired by the Titans. He had a 56-48 record in six seasons in Tennessee and had a 2-3 mark in the postseason.
As a longtime player with the New England Patriots, Vrabel won three Super Bowl titles.
