The Jets have made one roster move after yesterday’s game:
We have signed DL Jaylen Twyman and placed WR Malik Taylor on Reserve/Injured.

Taylor had made a reasonably good start to camp but will now revert to injured reserve. This essentially ends his season, although the Jets could in theory release him from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
The 25-year old registered 40 bench press reps having weighed in at 301 pounds at his pro day in 2021. He is a former sixth round pick but has yet to make his NFL debut. He has spent time with Miami and Minnesota and also played in the USFL and UFL.
Bringing him in gives the Jets an extra body on the defensive line, which may mean that they intend to rest all their key contributors once again in the final preseason game.
