Aaron Glenn began his career as an NFL player after being drafted in the first round in 1994 by the New York Jets. After retiring from the NFL following the 2008 season, Glenn received another NFL opportunity when he was brought in by the Jets to be a personnel scout in 2012.
Fast forward to 2025 after coaching for three different teams and Glenn is back once again where it all started to begin the next chapter of his career: NFL head coach.
Many around the league have had positive things to say regarding the Jets’ hiring of Glenn as HC. Sports Illustrated senior reporter Albert Breer was among those to express approval of the move.
