Odell Beckham is one of the biggest names left on the free agent wide recevier market. After sitting out the entire 2022 season, the three-time Pro Bowler signed a massive one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens during the 2023 offseason. While he didn’t justify that heavy investment, he put together a solid season after a slow start. Appearing in 14 games while making six starts, the wideout finished the year with 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns on 64 targets.
Nobody expected Odell Beckham to look like the same game-breaking player he was with the Giants. However, after taking a few weeks to knock off the rust, he started to look like the solid WR2 he was during his short stint with the Los Angeles Rams. Players like this have value in today’s NFL, but Beckham won’t be coming back to the Ravens in 2024.
The source for this claim comes from the wide receiver himself. Taking to Instagram, Odell Beckham sent out a goodbye to the Ravens as the free agent looks for his next NFL home.

Odell Beckham Says Goodbye To Baltimore, Will Find New Team As A Free Agent
Reports of Beckham’s departure shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise. The Ravens are already reportedly targeting a different free agent wide receiver, which heavily implies Odell Beckham was not in the team’s plans. This Instagram post just makes it official, and it also implies that the former first-round pick could be signing somewhere else very soon.
Now entering his age-32 season, it’s safe to assume that Beckham’s best years are long behind him. While he was one of the best in the game at his peak, we haven’t seen that version of the wide receiver in quite some time. However, Odell Beckham was still effective as the third option in Baltimore’s passing attack, and the free agent should find similar success in 2024. In no particular order, these three teams make the most sense as potential landing spots.
Best Team Fits
Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs signed Marquise Brown to a one-year deal, giving this team a much-needed deep threat that they haven’t had since the Tyreek Hill days. While wide receiver is no longer a glaring need on the roster, they could still use more depth. Adding Odell Beckham into the mix will only make this high-flying offense all the more deadly while providing some insurance in the event of an injury.
New York Jets
The Jets have a 40-year-old quarterback under center, which means that the organization is in win-now mode. While Garrett Wilson has what it takes to be the top option in this passing attack, the Jets need to find a reliable second option. Allen Lazard isn’t getting the job done, so they might as well turn to Odell Beckham as a free agent. Ideally, the team will sign Beckham and Mike Williams to give Rodgers three reliable receivers for what could be his last hoorah.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers released Mike Williams and traded Keenan Allen, which implies that they aren’t interested in veteran wide receivers. However, the Chargers only did this because they desperately needed cap space and both players had cap hits exceeding $30 million. Odell Beckham is going to be considerably cheaper as a free agent, and this team needs somebody to catch the ball who isn’t Quentin Johnston. Justin Herbert is great, but he can’t do it all by himself. If this team wants to take down the Chiefs, they’ll need at least two or three more threats in the passing game.
