The New Jersey Devils wrap up their time in Czechia with an afternoon game against the Buffalo Sabres. This means it is a rare morning game in America. Wake up and talk about the Devils game as it happens here.
Good morning. The New Jersey Devils are still in Prague. The locals get an afternoon game, which means it is a rare morning game here in America. This game finishes up a home-and-home with Buffalo. Hopefully, it ends with another result for the Devils. The season really picks up once they return next week.
The Time: 10:00 AM ET
The Broadcast: TV: MSGSN, MSG-Buffalo, NHL Network; Audio: Devils Hockey Radio
The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils vs. Buffalo Sabres in Prague, Czechia
The Song of the Morning: One of the longest running bands in Czechia in the realm of heavy music is Törr. They have a history going back to 1977. They started off in heavy metal, switched to black metal, and then have bounced around those genres. Among their first singles is a song called “Armageddon,” which was originally in two parts. I believe it was put together in this one single song for their 1993 compilation (re-recording?) of Kladivo na čarodějnice 1986–1989. You can feel the Venom influence all over this song. Great if you like that sound because there is a lot of Törr to go through.
The Rules: The rules remain as they are as the Devils complete their first back-to-back of the season as well as their time in Prague. Please keep your language clean (this means no swearing, don’t mask it, it’s not enough, no I don’t care what Tom Fitzgerald said), respect your fellow Devils fan with no personal attacks (play nice or you will not play here), no illegal streams (this means no asking, no hints, no nothing about it), and please keep your comments relevant to this game. Go Devils!
