The New Jersey Devils are back home. They begin their regular season in North America with their home opener tonight. They are hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs, formerly coached by Sheldon Keefe, currently led by Auston Matthews, and constantly in Canada’s spotlight.
Good evening. The New Jersey Devils will play their first night game of the regular season. It is also their first one in North America. Most importantly, it is in Newark. Yes, it is the home opener. It sure would be sweet if Sheldon Keefe can enjoy some revenge.
The Time: 7:00 PM ET
The Broadcast: TV: MSG; Audio: Devils Hockey Radio
The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
The Song of the Evening: The Banner still flies. They even played in Lyndhurst last weekend. Frailty is still well-regarded, especially from those who like their hardcore to be dark. Example from the 2008 album: “I Am Legion.” As are the People Who Matter (whom Joey Southside absolutely is one of.)
The Rules: The rules remain as they are as the Devils begin the season in New Jersey. Please keep your language clean (this means no swearing, don’t mask it, it’s not enough, no I don’t care what Tom Fitzgerald said), respect your fellow Devils fan with no personal attacks (play nice or you will not play here), no illegal streams (this means no asking, no hints, no nothing about it), and please keep your comments relevant to this game. Go Devils!
