Now back in North America, the New Jersey Devils begin their road schedule in earnest in the nation’s capital. Appropriately, they are playing the Washington Capitals. Talk about the game here as it happens.
This is the first road game of the regular season that is actually a road game for the New Jersey Devils. Technically, the season opener in Prague was a road game for the purposes of lines and faceoffs, but it was a neutral site. This is also the first of many important games within the division.
The Time: 7:00 PM ET

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils at Washington Capitals
The Song of the Evening: Out of France, a two-piece of Léo Watremez and Marius Elfstedt have been composing and putting together haunting and really heavy music under the name of Mirar. Their Mare EP is considered to be one of the heaviest releases of the year. With songs like “Rachma,” which is based on Piano Concerto 2 by Rachmaninoff, I can believe it.
The Rules: The rules remain as they are as the Devils are in a tough place like Washington D.C. Please keep your language clean (this means no swearing, don’t mask it, it’s not enough, no I don’t care what Tom Fitzgerald said), respect your fellow Devils fan with no personal attacks (play nice or you will not play here), no illegal streams (this means no asking, no hints, no nothing about it), and please keep your comments relevant to this game. Go Devils!
