He was the guitarist and a driving force of Society System Decontrol, better known as SS Decontrol and even better known as SSD. The 1982 album The Kids Will Have Their Say was a foundational block for the Boston scene that would blossom in decades to follow. The album’s opener “Boiling Point” was a starting point.
