As part of the NHL’s Frozen Frenzy, the New Jersey Devils are hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning at a special time. Just fifteen minutes earlier than usual. The game will still be the same and you may still discuss it here.
Today, all 32 teams in the NHL are playing. The league is calling it Frozen Frenzy. To ensure all hockey games are not stopping around the same time, the start times are staggered. Fortunately for the New Jersey Devils and the People Who Matter, the time change is just a bit earlier than usual.
The Time: 6:45 PM ET
The Broadcast: TV: MSGSN, Bally Sports Sun; Audio: Devils Hockey Radio
The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
The Song of the Evening: Florida death metal in the 1980s and early 1990s was a thriving scene and vital for the genre. While Death is my absolute favorite, I do have to highlight many of the other groups. Most notably, Obituary. Their first album, Slowly We Rot, is a classic as is the title track.
The Rules: The rules remain as they are as the Devils are playing 15 minutes earlier than usual. Please keep your language clean (this means no swearing, don’t mask it, it’s not enough, no I don’t care what Tom Fitzgerald said), respect your fellow Devils fan with no personal attacks (play nice or you will not play here), no illegal streams (this means no asking, no hints, no nothing about it), and please keep your comments relevant to this game. Go Devils!
