Welcome to the NHL, Seamus Casey, and it looks like we have a lineup:
Jack Hughes let the cat out of the bag, although not unexpected, that Seamus Casey will make his NHL debut with #NJDevils tomorrow in Prague against the Sabres.
Sheldon Keefe then confirms officially that Seamus is indeed in tomorrow for his debut.

Jack Hughes: “Last year was definitely frustrating; people expected us to be much better. I think it’s just another opportunity for our group to grow and really take another stride and get back to where we were and give ourselves a chance to play really good hockey to start the season and carry that on as we go.” [NHL.com]
Patrik Elias: “It’s just awesome for me to see the Devils here. I’m proud of it and want them to showcase the players, the game itself. We’re anticipating two exciting games, exciting hockey, and this is great for these kids and for everyone watching it live this weekend.” [NHL.com]
In the final Devils preseason game, Kevin Labanc tallied a hat trick but it wasn’t enough to get the good guys past the Flyers. Philadelphia won 5-4. [Devils NHL]
“A night out at a hockey game conjures images of hot dogs, popcorn and beer. But the New Jersey Devils have put something else on the menu this season: breakfast. The Devils announced this week that they’ll be selling Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwiches — New Jersey’s iconic breakfast staple — at the ‘Downtown Diner’ stands near Sections 1 and 118 at the Prudential Center. The sandwich was available for a limited time in previous seasons but will now become a fixture at all games.” [ESPN]

An update on Robin Lehner and the Golden Knights:
NHL/NHLPA have reached an agreement on Robin Lehner/Vegas.
Simplest way to put it is this: Lehner’s contract will not count against the cap, but he will still be paid his salary.
“Unique situation,” as all sides have indicated

Sources say a resolution has been reached on Robin Lehner situation with @GoldenKnights.
Lehner will NOT be on Vegas’ salary cap this season. Believe Lehner will still be paid.
Big win for the Golden Knights, who likely will not have to operate in LTIR to start the season.
