The club has recalled forwards Shane Bowers, Justin Dowling, Nolan Foote, and defenseman Nick DeSimone from Utica (AHL).

Some good news! Nathan Bastian is out there with the #NJDevils. He’s got a full face shield on.
Timo Meier is, however, not on the ice.
Players called up yesterday (Foote, Dowling, Bowers and DeSimone) are on the ice as well.
Everyone else accounted for.

Timo Meier and Brett Pesce are considered ‘day-to-day’ per HC Keefe. Said this 4days between games is v. helpful for some guys who are not 100%.

INJURY UPDATE: Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin sustained an injury to his lower leg during last night’s game in Utah, and is listed as week to week. Ovechkin will have further evaluation with team physicians in DC on Wednesday.

The Bruins part ways with Jim Montgomery after an 8-9-3 start:
Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, November 19, that the team has relieved Jim Montgomery of his duties as Head Coach.
Associate Coach Joe Sacco will assume interim head coaching duties.
