Free agency begins today! Get ready!
The Devils making big moves this offseason. Already got Jacob Markstrom and as @EmptyNettersPod first reported, expectation is Brett Pesce also signs. Don’t think they’re done after that either.

ICYMI: Here’s our draft recap with a look at all seven players selected by the Devils. [All About the Jersey]
“A major reason for the Devils’ high grade was their 10th overall pick, Anton Silayev. I think Silayev could be a star two-way defenseman in the NHL. I did also like their pick of Mikhail Yegorov on day two. He may be the most purely talented goalie in the draft, and he has the potential to be a starting goalie in the NHL if he fixes some of his deficiencies.” A look at the class: [The Athletic ($)]

Sources say #GoBolts have agreed to terms on a contract with Jake Guentzel after a productive Sunday.
Details have been hard to come by as Tampa has other moving parts, and info might not come out until tomorrow.

And it appears the Rangers are ready to move on from Jacob Trouba: “Indeed, a well-placed source has told The Post that GM Chris Drury is working on a deal to send the captain to the Red Wings, a trade that the Michigan native would presumably accept after having played as a freshman for the Wolverines in 2012-13.” [New York Post]
“Four of the five Canadian world junior players charged with sexual assault stemming from a June 2018 incident in London, Ont., have been cut loose by their NHL teams after not being tendered a qualifying offer before Sunday’s deadline.” [The Athletic ($)]
