Devils Links
“ESPN and WBD Sports announced on Thursday that the New Jersey Devils will once again be featured in 13 U.S. national game broadcasts. For the second season in a row, the Devils are designated to the maximum allowable national game broadcasts per team.” [Devils NHL]
The Devils rank at No. 8 here in The Athletic’s Pipeline Rankings for 2024: “To say that the New Jersey Devils have their defense of the future set up would be a mild understatement. No other organization can say they have the combined U23 talent of Luke Hughes, Anton Silayev and Simon Nemec coming up on their blue line. Their forward talent isn’t anywhere close to that level, especially after Alexander Holtz didn’t develop as planned and was traded.” [The Athletic ($)]
“For New York fans, the Yankees, Knicks, Nets and all the area NHL teams will be available on one service as YES and MSG Networks will launch the Gotham Sports App. The move has been anticipated since the two networks formed a joint venture called Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment (GAME). While fans will still be able to access YES and MSG through cable and satellite providers, GAME will allow those without cable to see all six teams, counting the Rangers, Islanders and Devils, under one roof.” [The Athletic ($)]
