Tonight, the Islanders will try to beat the defending champs.
The New York Islanders stuck with it last night after allowing the New Jersey Devils to tie the game with the extra attacker, taking the extra point in OT on a beautiful give-and-go between Bo Horvat and Mat Barzal.

But there is no rest for the weary: The Islanders are right back at it against the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers, who thought they were getting Sasha Barkov back in the lineup after he was hurt in the first week of the season; it does not appear he’s ready, though.
