The Islanders visit their rivals missing some guys.
The badly battered New York Islanders are visiting their biggest rivals early this afternoon. They will be without a decent portion of their opening night roster when the puck drops at 1:00 p.m.
It is also the day of the New York City Marathon, so this matchup appears to have been set for today on purpose.
