NHL Predictions
Boston Bruins vs New York Rangers
Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: Sportsnet; MSG; NESN; ESPN+
We open NHL predictions with our featured game between the Bruins and the Rangers. Boston is expected to go with Jeremy Swayman in between the pipes. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Bruins are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games coming into this Original Six matchup. Brad Marchand has registered 15 goals and 16 assists for the Bruins after a slow start.
Jonathan Quick is the likely starter for the Rangers coming into this game. Quick will get the lion’s share of starts with Igor Shesterkin out with an upper-body injury. New York has lost four consecutive games and is 2-8 in the last 10 games. Will Cuylle has been one of the bright spots with 11 goals with 13 assists for the Blueshirts.
New York has to get a win, but Boston is just the better team at this point.
Prediction: Bruins win 4-2.
Minnesota Wild vs Washington Capitals
Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: Fan Duel Sports North; Fan Duel Sports Wisconsin X; Monument Sports Network; ESPN+
Our second game of NHL predictions has the Minnesota Wild visiting the Washington Capitals. The Wild are projected to go with Filip Gustavsson in the blue paint for this one. Minnesota is 4-6 in the last 10 game, but did win the last time out. The Wild will be without Kirill Kaprizov and Jared Spurgeon going into this game. However, Austrian Marco Rossi has been good this season with 14 goals and 18 assists for the Wild.
Washington is expected to go with Charlie Lindgren in goal for this game. The Capitals are 6-4 in the last 10 games coming into this one. Dylan Strome has been rejuvenated this season with 11 goals with 29 assists for the Capitals. However, many are still focused on Alex Ovechkin‘s chase of Wayne Gretzky.
Minnesota is a good team, but the injury losses are too great.
Prediction: Capitals win 4-2.
Philadelphia Flyers vs Vegas Golden Knights
Head-to-Head: Flyers 0-1 Golden Knights
Time: 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: NBC Sports Philadelphia +; Scripps Vegas; Sportsnet; ESPN+
The last game of NHL predictions has the Philadelphia Flyers taking on the Vegas Golden Knights. Aleksei Kolosov is the projected starter for the Flyers, who are 5-5 in the last 10 games. Travis Konecny has been consistent all season with 17 goals and 25 assists for the Flyers. However, Noah Cates has been great as of late with six goals and three assists in the last 10.
Vegas is 8-2 in the last 10 games, but lost the last time out. Adin Hill is the expected starter for the Golden Knights and has a 16-6-2 mark this season. Brett Howden has piled up five goals and three assists for eight points over the past 10 games.
The Knights have already beaten the Flyers earlier this season and should complete the season-sweep.
Prediction: Golden Knights win 5-2.
